Flame Detectors

Flame detectors are used in multi burner utility and large industrial boilers to detect the presence and absence of flame produced from each burner and its associated igniter. Information from the flame detectors are an integral part of the burner management system that is required on all boilers.

IDD DETECTOR sERIES

The Forney IDD Detector Series features a separate infrared (IDD) or ultraviolet (UV-4) detector head which connects to a remote amplifier with advanced signal processing capabilities.

UniFlame Detectors

The UniFlame family of detectors are self contained (sensor and amplifier all in one package) units with UV and/or IR capabilities. Because of the ability to ration the UV and IR signal these detector are the most highly tunable.

Digital Profile Detector (DPD)

The DPD is a self contained detector that features self tuning capabilities. It is available in both a solid state IR or UV sensor configuration.
